While KISS' Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley intend to make some noise in the Arena Football League, the group is marking the launch of LA KISS in a quieter fashion.
The group is celebrating their new AFL team with "An Acoustic Evening with KISS," taking place at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland, California Thursday night.
The special concert will feature the band without makeup, playing unplugged versions of their biggest hits and sharing stories behind the songs.
Stanley posted a photo from Wednesday's rehearsal on Facebook, and promised the show is "gonna be a one time only adventure."
The concert will also be taped for a new AMC reality series covering the team's inaugural season.
On Saturday LA KISS will play their home opener, which will air on the CBS Sports Network at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
